I should probably wait until it is a little bit more complete, but I can’t. There are a lot of exciting things happening at the AG Bible Institute this fall. You can read all about it here, in the first post ever at the all new www.nyackagbi.com !

The site meets three needs:
First, it is informational for prospective students, partner churches, and professors.
While we regularly update all of our literature and promotional videos, it is not easy to keep it all up to date and available. Being able to direct pastors and potential students to a content-rich site will be a big help.
Second, it will aid in Institute-wide communications.
The site is set up as a Wordpress blog (as is the site you’re on right now), which means multiple users can post content quickly and easily from any computer (or iPhone!) connected to the internet. Anyone who subscribes will get automatic updates via email or feed reader. So what will that look like? Well, any professor can post content, such as class notes, helpful links, due date reminders, etc. They can also post devotional thoughts, reports of what God is doing, prayer request etc. Perhaps most helpful, we can post news, scheduling details, and event details. You will no longer have to rely on info you sort of remember hearing someone mention during a busy class!
We will be requiring all students to sign up for a free email subscription to the site (all subscriptions are free of course). We will also invite all of our Professors and some students to participate in adding content to the blog.
Third, it will provide another forum for students and teachers to interact.
While not everyone will be authorized to post, anyone can heard and interact via the comments section for any post.
So, check it out. This site is just one of the many improvements, big and small, we will be making to the institute this fall. (That rhymed.)
